Coyotes Finish Second in Pottsboro

<p>The Anna Coyotes took second at the Pottsboro baseball tournament last weekend. 
</p>

<p>The boys got off to a good start, defeating Community 8-5. Ryan Hayes and Tyler Elliott each doubled and drove in two runs in the win. 
</p>

<p>The Coyotes pitched the first three innings scoreless as Lloyd Jacobs came away with the win. 
</p>

<p>The second game was more of the same against Bells. Brad Gee won the pitchers' duel and Anna won the game 7-6. 
</p>

<p>Tyler Elliott went 2-for-2 and Chris Smith 1-for-1 with each driving in three runs.  
</p>

<p>The Coyotes faced Crandall in the final game. Crandall jumped out to an early lead, but the Coyotes scored in the third inning to tie the game. 
</p>

<p>Crandall added runs in the fourth and seventh innings and went on to win the tournament. Roger Windell of Crandall gave up only one run and six hits.  
</p>

<p>Anna will be back in action Thursday at the Gunter/Prosper Tournament against Gunter at 10 a.m.</p>
